Our friends at Lauritzen Gardens are happy to offer Nebraska Statewide Arboretum members FREE admission (up to 2 people per member card) to their gardens from July 15-21 as part of our Member Appreciation Week. This is offered to our members only, so make sure to join the conversation and ask all those gardening and tree questions you have! In fact, why don't you send us your questions in advance so we can try to cover as many as possible?!

Metropolitan Community College Arboretum Tour

Join Nebraska Statewide Arboretum as we explore the green spaces of Metropolitan Community College led by MCC Arboretum curator, Kristina Engler. The historical site of Fort Omaha is the setting for the MCC Arboretum, an affiliate site of Nebraska Statewide Arboretum. The arboretum site encompasses five acres of the 70-acre campus. Metro's arboretum offers a profusion of trees, plants and shrubs; some that have existed on the site for over 100 years. As both a historic site and learning laboratory, this environment presents educational opportunities for their students that aren't available anywhere else.
This is a walking tour, so wear your comfy walking shoes and be prepared for Nebraska weather!

Wanna show off your tree, plant, and shrub knowledge with friends over a pint? Have we got the trivia event for you!
Bring a team (up to 6) to Zipline Beer Hall (5740 Hidcote Dr. Ste B, Lincoln) and expect 50ish questions over 2 hours. This is a free event (but we know our friends at Zipline would love if it ya bought something). Also, non-members are welcome to attend, too, so bring your friends and introduce them to NSA!

Join Nebraska Statewide Arboretum as we explore the gardens of St. Leo Church. St. Leo's has been working with Nebraska Statewide Arboretum on several plantings and it's time to show them off!
