Help Replant Nebraska: Restore Trees After wildfire and Beyond

Help Replant Nebraska

Restore Trees After Wildfire and Beyond

Recent wildfires across Nebraska have devastated landscapes, shelterbelts and communities, leaving homeowners without the trees that provide shade, protection and beauty. Trees are more than part of our landscape—they are essential infrastructure for our environment, farms and neighborhoods.

PlantNebraska is stepping in to help communities recover.

Starting now, and for the long term, your gift to the PlantNebraska Disaster Recovery Fund will:

  • Provide free trees to Nebraska homeowners impacted by natural disasters
  • Support replanting efforts after wildfires, storms and other events
  • Help restore windbreaks, shade, wildlife habitat and community resilience

Our immediate focus is wildfire recovery, but this fund will remain in place to respond quickly to future disasters across the state.

  • $50 provides one tree for a Nebraska homeowner
  • $100 plants a bundle of tree seedlings for habitat
  • $500 helps replant part of a shelterbelt

Our goal is simple and powerful:
Every impacted landowner receives a tree to plant and begin again.

With your help, we can turn loss into renewal—one tree at a time.

PlantNebraska has decades of experience connecting people with the right trees for our climate and ecosystems. We work with growers, communities and experts across the state to ensure trees are planted successfully so that they will thrive for generations.

Together, we can restore what’s been lost and grow something even stronger. Please donate today.
