Join us over the noon hour on Thursday, May 28 for a tour of Maxwell Arboretum on UNL's East Campus led by Forestry Lecturer Ann Powers. It will be a wonderful time to journey through the Arboretum under the shade of the gentle giants as well as observe the new trees that have been planted recently. Maxwell Arboretum has a unique collection of trees, shrubs, and perennials so you won't want to miss this chance to learn more about them and ask questions.

While this is a free tour, we welcome donations to our Give to Lincoln Day fundraiser. Our goal is to raise $20,000 to support our internship program. This program pays university students to work with our staff in various areas throughout the year. They gain experience in our greenhouse and at planting projects throughout the state and develop employment skills that give them a leg up when they enter the workforce upon graduation. Many of our interns have gone on to have amazing careers in the horticulture field (and beyond!) throughout the country. Please give today to support this program!
