Become a Greener Town
Nebraska community groups who need $5,000-$25,000 to improve their public landscapes like streets, trails, parks, campuses, schools and fairgrounds are encouraged to apply for Greener Towns. Funding is awarded competitively each year.
For information on how to apply, email Sarah at sarah.buckley@unl.edu. Deadline to begin an application is December 20th for projects starting July 1st, 2024.
