Aug. 1      “The Glorious Bounty of Herbs,” with Jill Kuhel, a lifelong student of the infinitely interesting world of plants & particularly drawn to herbs with a good story, and Sharon Ohmberger who has a “voracious appetite for information about plants, spices, and foods as daily medicine. She sometimes finds herself eating things she chopped out of soybean fields as she was growing up on the farm.”
Sept. 5    “Edible Wild Mushrooms of Nebraska." Join Bob Henrickson for tips on identifying, when and how to gather and how to prepare mushrooms for storage and cooking. 
Oct. 3      "Birding in SUBIRDIA," enjoying Nebraska birds in urban settings with Jason “the Birdnerd” St. Sauver on amazing urban birds in and around Lincoln, great places to find them, tips to identify them and simple ways to help them thrive in the urban/suburban world we live in. Jason is the Director of Education & Outreach with Audubon Nebraska; he loves helping folks of all ages connect to nature through birds.
