How to Apply
REVIEW PROGRAM CRITERIA
Community groups in need of funding to improve their community forests are eligible for Trees for Nebraska Towns. Successful projects have volunteers, city staff and professionals that work together to complete the process. For more on the program and who should apply, review the Trees for Nebraska Towns Program Description. Don't forget to review the Specification for Partnership Projects to learn what is required during planting.
Create a Plan
Get to know your site and its surroundings, then use what you find out to set goals. You must have a thoughtful plan drawn to scale that indicates the placement of each tree and the location of the project within your town. Professional designs are not required but can be helpful for larger projects. For help finding a designer near you look here.
